Bummer to read this. I was looking into this myself and realized both Nox and BlueStacks don't work (no M1 compatibility atm) and as you mention, sideloading is dead. I haven't been able to find any other options. Pretty sucky.hopefully there'll be updates soon.

1. Open Terminal from your Dock or Utility folder.

How to turn off System Integrity Protection in macOS

  1. Click the Apple symbol in the Menu bar.
  2. Click Restart
  3. Hold down Command-R to reboot into Recovery Mode.

4. Once in Recovery mode, open a Terminal window from the Utilities drop-down menu at the top of the screen.

5. Type the following command into the Terminal window: csrutil disable

6. Press the Enter or Return, then you'll see a message stating that System Integrity Protection has been disabled and that the machine needs to restart for changes to take effect.

Many of you wants to run NOX Player using your MAC but you are stuck at 99%. Worry no more, I found the solution and it works flawlessly.
1. Download NOX player into your machine.
2. Once downloaded, install NOX Player. When opening the app for the first time, you will see a pop-up notification, simply hit OPEN.
3. Go to System Preferences > General Tab > and click Allow. You will be notified to enter your machine password.
NOX will also install VirtualBox. Make sure that you have the latest version of the app.
4. Run VirtualBox app.
5. Go to System Preferences > In the search tab, type 'Security and Privacy' hit enter.App
